Despite being thinner, this flooring is still a multi-ply engineered oak floor. This means that under oak, the board is made up of a multi-laminate hardwood ply. This is what gives your floor the vast strength and stability that is required of engineered flooring and is crucial for areas of your property where solid oak may not be suitable. It also makes this board a good choice for those looking to install in conjunction with underfloor heating. On top of the plywood is a 3mm thick, single strip, solid European natural oak layer.
This board is pre-treated with a natural oil however, as if often the case, for the best protection additional treatment of oils can on site can be applied. The stunning 150mm wide European oak board comes in random lengths and offers you an assortment of natural wood features including knots and gorgeous figuring which provides both warmth and character to your property.
Random flooring comes in a pack of varying panel lengths. This makes random floor lengths less expensive since there is a greater degree of flexibility for us when it comes to processing the wood. Random length flooring will create a real natural & authentic looking floor since you are forced to lay the boards in a random fashion.
