What is engineered wood flooring?

Consisting of a real hardwood layer (the same as solid wood flooring) over the top of plywood, it looks just like a true hardwood floor.

The multiple layers in an engineered board give it great strength and resilience. A more environmentally friendly solution, the layered structure gives it an under-core beneath the surface, providing greater strength, stability and reliability.
