Engineered Wood Flooring Somerset
Hi Tom,
Please find attached my rather poor photos of the engineered oak flooring you supplied for our house in Somerset – Doesn’t really do justice to your product!
I have laid many laminate, engineered and solid wood floors in my time and on arrival I opened up half the boxes to get an overview of consistency and to order the boards in length and to sort out any boards which if necessary I could ‘hide’ in less obvious positions (i.e. large knots, sapwood etc!). I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the boards were clear of any knots and those that did exist were small, very little sapwood and no single board could be shamed into being hidden.
The lengths which were described as ‘random’ were predominantly 1200mm or over, very straight and extremely well machined – making the laying an easy
task!
I laid this flooring over underfloor heating ( a first for me here !) and I can say with certainty that it works really well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone and top marks to JFJ Wood Flooring who did exactly what they said they would, on time – if anything, they undersold this product to me!
The pictures by the way are just of pre-treated boards as I’ve yet to get the time to apply further oil to them.
