"Our engineered wood flooring is still looking great one year on"

As promised – one year after fitting your engineered wood flooring at our home in Kent, here are some pictures from the finished article.
In short, I can confirm that I am very happy with the finished result and our engineered oak flooring is still looking great one year on after fairly heavy usage by a family with three young children. There is no sign of cupping or warping which was our main aim when choosing an engineered floor over a solid floor. We opted to have our floors glued and nailed to 19mm ply as we didn’t want to run the floors across the floor beams. We also insulated with celotex between the beams and it truly has made a world of difference to our fuel economy and the temperature in the house in winter. The only downside to the celotex is that we have to run a dehumidifier in the basement now where the air doesn’t circulate as before and the warm air from the house doesn’t heat up the basement.
