Application
Treatex Preparation Cleaner is an aggressive cleaner for worn surfaces finished with Treatex Hardwax Oil. Treatex Preparation Cleaner removes contaminates such as dirt, grease and fat leaving the surface ready for refinishing or refreshing. This product does remove a thin, small layer of wax so do not use it for regular cleaning of the surface.
Dilute 50ml of Treatex Preparation Cleaner in 5 litres of water. On heavily soiled floors you can dilute up to 100ml of Preparation Cleaner in 5 litres of water.
Use a mop, or a buffing machine with a white or red pad, to thoroughly scrub the surface with the solution. After use, rinse with clean water to remove any residue.
Ensure surface is only damp, not saturated. Leave to dry thoroughly for at least 3 hours before refinishing with Treatex Hardwax Oil or refreshing with Treatex Wax Polish.
